What a subcontractor can show you
For each day on your job: who signed in, at what time, how the sign-in came in (a shared location, a gate code or a foreman confirming them), and the site diary their manager signed that evening. Each subcontractor keeps its own record and decides what to send you. There is no combined view across your subcontractors, and we do not claim one.
Who pays
The subcontractor pays: £15 a month for each person on its own team who uses it, managers and office staff included. Today a main contractor is not charged for anything, and is not asked to adopt a system or log in to one.
The 1 October 2026 change that reaches you
From 1 October 2026, the penalty regime for illegal working reaches firms taking on individual subbies and casual labour directly, not just firms with employees. If any part of your supply chain engages individuals rather than a subcontractor firm, your exposure has changed. A dated attendance record, and a record that a right-to-work check was made before a first shift, are the first things you will be asked for. A subcontractor on this product records the Home Office share-code check it made; the product does not make the check itself.
